Terms of use

Ounce Meal Log for iPhone. Last updated October 10, 2026.

By using Ounce you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to every app sold on the App Store.

What Ounce is

Ounce is a meal log. Calories are standard reference values per 100 grams, scaled to the portion you set. Dollar amounts are estimates of United States prices, except a price you type yourself. Photo and barcode readings can be wrong. Check anything that matters and correct it in the app.

Not medical advice

Ounce is not a medical device and not a dietitian. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Talk to a qualified professional before changing your diet for a health reason.

Ounce Plus

One meal a day can be logged for free. Ounce Plus is an auto-renewing subscription that removes that limit. Two plans are offered: an annual plan with an introductory free trial when the App Store offers one, and a weekly plan with no trial. The current price is shown in the app before you subscribe.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings under Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store terms.

Your content

Meals and photos you log belong to you and stay on your phone. You are responsible for backing up your phone.

Acceptable use

Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app or the services it calls.

Warranty and liability

Ounce is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, CoreFeld LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including decisions made on the basis of its estimates.

Changes

These terms can change. The current version is always at this address.
